I’ve never posted anything about my cats, so thought it was about time I remedied such an oversight. Here is Purdey squashing a rare Digitalis dubia in my alpine sink, and Poppy, the feline goddess of summertime, sensuously exposing her magnificent tum to the rays of the sun. Meowver and out.

 I'm a garden writer and author with a tiny, but plant packed garden in East London. This is my blog about gardening, as well as a safe deposit for curious lists, trivia, anecdotes and just about anything else that takes my fancy. Despite the title, it has absolutely nothing to do with greyhound racing - it is named in honour of a local landmark and once fine stadium that is now sadly closed.
